Fulham are trailing 3-1 from the first leg, but have an all-important away goal going into the return leg at Woking FC.

Manager Marieanne Spacey is confident the semi-professionals of Fulham can turn it around: "Despite the result I was pleased with the girls battling performance in Germany; physically we were more than a match for them. We played some quick high tempo football which often put them on the back foot and we scored the goal of the game.

"Although they are wonderful going forward, defensively they are less confident and we are more than capable of scoring two goals at home."

FFC Frankfurt won the inaugural European club competition for women two seasons ago, before losing out to eventual winners Umea IK of Sweden in last year's semi-finals. They feature six stars from the newly-crowned world champions Germany, including the Golden Boot winner Birgit Prinz.

The Whites will be without influential midfielder Rachel Yankey who is suspended after being booked in the first leg and will be sorely missed after being instrumental in setting up Rachel McArthur's away goal. Combative defender Kim Jerray-Silver will however be back in the ranks after serving out her suspension in the away leg.

Marieanne continued: "We are thoroughly looking forward to the game, it will be a hard-fought competitive match and a good advert for the women's game. I hope that all those Fulham fans who aren't going to Highbury to watch the men will come down to cheer the girls into their first European Cup Semi-Final!"

Fans are invited to watch Chris Coleman's side take on Arsenal on the big screen after the game. The match will be played at Woking FC, Kingfield Stadium, Kingfield Road, Woking, Surrey, with a 12.00 noon kick-off.
