UEFA European U19 Championship Second Qualification Round
7.30pm (local time), Saturday 26 April 2008
Eupen Stadium
England Women U19s' hopes of qualifying for the European Championships this summer became a distinct reality following a convincing win over hosts Belgium at the Eupen Stadium on Saturday.
Following Thursday's emphatic 7-0 win over Poland, England knew that a second win against the Belgians would give them a terrific chance of reaching July's Finals in France.
It didn't take Mo Marley's team long to put themselves in control and they took a first half lead in the game courtesy of Remi Allen's early goal, but they had to wait until the second half before they could go on and secure the victory.
Chelsea's Ellen White added England's second goal shortly after the hour mark before the result was sealed in the final ten minutes courtesy of efforts from Toni Duggan in the 82nd minute and Jessica Clarke in the 87th minute.
England will now face Iceland in their final game on Tuesday, at the Honsfeld Stadium.
