Formerly a regular between the sticks with Oldham Curzon and Blackburn Rovers, Kay joined Lincoln City in 2007.

The agile and athletic keeper has represented England Under-21s and has been in the senior squad on a number of occasions.

In her first season at the Rovers, she won her first league championship (Northern Premier) and will be looking to get back in the Premiership with her new club.

Kay has been rewarded for her performances in training camps by another chance to stake her claims to be a regular in the senior squad, and made her debut against Norway in Cyprus.
