Left-winger Michelle is a bright prospect for club and country, with the versatility to play in defence and midfield she has adapted well since joining Charlton a year ago.

One of six signings made by manager Keith Boanas before the 2005 Community Shield she joined the Addicks from Coventry City, having previously plyed her trade at Birmingham and Fulham.

At Fulham Michelle gained valuable experience, competing for a place in the starting XI with senior England internationals Rachel Unitt and Rachel Yankey, and also linking up with Katie Chapman.

Hickmott spent summer 2005 with England U21s at the Nordic Cup in Sweden, alongside new teammates Casey Stoney and Jess Smith, as the trio helped their country to third place with a penalty shoot-out win against Germany.
