Lianne crowned a fantastic season for club and country with two huge steps forward in her footballing development.

At just 18, Lianne took the accolade of 'Player of the match' in The FA Women's Cup Final where Arsenal showed their best form and dispatched Leeds United 5-0.

Lianne got the fifth goal and showed some fantastic touches throughout the match and that form was taken into The FA Women's Premier League as Arsenal roared home to their third successive title.

The icing on the cake for a brilliant season came when Lianne was called into the England squad for the World Cup Qualifier with Hungary at St. Mary's. Her fine club form caught the eye of Hope Powell and she was given a second half introduction and 35 minutes to show what she can do.

Lianne will be hoping to build on this season with Arsenal and England in 2006/07, and achieve the international goals of both European club success and World Cup qualification with the Three Lions.
