Vicky is a postwoman by trade and is a key member of both her club and international sides.

Vicky is a tenacious midfield terrier and likes to get stuck in, possessing one of the most powerful shots in the game.

‘Tricky’ joined Belles in 1994 from local side Sheffield Wednesday and enjoyed the highlight of her club career by playing in the FA Women’s Cup Final in May 2002, playing Fulham in front of a live BBC1 audience.

Vicky has become a regular England squad member and put in some solid performances at club level, including scoring the goal that helped the Belles avoid relegation this season from The FA Nationwide Premier League on the last day of last season.

Vicky is a hard working midfielder and her hard work was rewarded with two goals in the match in the Algarve Cup against Northern Ireland in March 2005, which England won 4-0.

Vicky capped the season by being named the Nationwide Player of the Month for April, and featured as a second half substitute at Euro 2005 in the second group game against Denmark.

Vicky earned her 50th cap in the Three Lions' fantastic 0-0 draw with Germany in the Four Nations Tournament in China in January 2007.
