First Goal

Jody started her FA Women’s Premier League playing career with Liverpool at 19 years old before moving on to neighbours Everton three years later. She has also represented the England University XI.

Jody scored her first international goal for England against Russia in a 2-2 draw in Moscow in October 2003, where she played on the right wing to good effect.

Jody has speed and agility and likes to play wide on the right.

Jody has great technical ability and during the 2005 Algarve Cup, deservedly got on the scoresheet against Mexico in a 5-0 victory, and scored in Everton’s FA Women’s Cup semi-final victory that took The Toffees to the Final for the first time since 1989.

This season Jody has reverted to playing up front for Everton and the move has seen her currently second in the the League goal scoring charts.

Jody also came off the bench in the record 13-0 away victory against Hungary and continued her rich vein of form by getting on the scoresheet.
