Amanda had an outstanding record at England U18 level, scoring 11 goals in 18 games, and now features regularly in the Senior Squad.

Amanda was one of the first students on a football scholarship at The FA National Player Development Centre at Loughborough University.

Amanda’s second senior international goal was a crucial one – netting in England’s 1-0 World Cup Play-off Semi-Final victory over Iceland in September 2002 to ensure England progressed to the Play-Off Final on aggregate 3-2.

She was also the top goalscorer in the women’s top flight in her first year with Charlton Athletic.

Amanda is an aggressive player, hungry to be a part of the goal scoring arm of the team. Not only does Amanda she score goals, she is an asset to the team as she her power and strength helps deliver quality crosses into the box.

Amanda displayed a growing maturity and versatility to her play by creating two goals against Portugal and three against Mexico in the Algarve Cup in March 2005.

Her goal for England in their opening game at Euro 2005 put Hope Powell's 2-0 up as they went on to claim a 3-2 victory.

More recently Amanda made an immediate impact from the bench in the World Cup qualifier, being brought down for a penalty that Fara Williams dispatched to give England a crucial 1-0 victory away to Holland.
