Austria are England’s first opponents in Amstetten on 01 September, in a group which also includes France, Holland and Hungary.

Back into the squad following Euro 2005 are Karen Bardsley, Laura Bassett, Sally Lacey, Kelly McDougall, Jo Potter, Ellen Maggs, Sue Smith and Lianne Sanderson, with all bar Smith and Lacey having featured for the U19s or U21s over the past week.

The Three Lions are then set to take on Hungary (with date and venue to be confirmed) before travelling to Holland on 17 November, where Hope Powell will be pitting her wits against former Dutch international Vera Pauw.

Pauw earned 87 caps in the Dutch midfield, and took over the managerial reins last July, following five years as Head Coach of Scotland.
