Tooting and Mitcham were the biggest scorers on a busy Wednesday night of action in The FA Youth Cup as they cruised into the Third Round Qualifying with an 8-2 win over Chertsey Town.
Tooting were four goals ahead inside 16 minutes, with Dayo Junaid and Dan McIntosh finishing with two goals apiece and Thiernor Dialio, Joel Kampila, Dan Mason and Dan Azzopardi also on the scoresheet.
Thriller of the night came at Bootle, although the home side were ultimately beaten 5-4 in extra-time by Ashton Town.
Another seven goals came in the game between Salford City and Burscough, with City edging it 4-3.
Elsewhere, there were more comfortable victories for Curzon Ashton, Yorkshire Amateur, Stapenhill, Stevenage Borough, Enfield Town, Ebbsfleet United and Basingstoke Town.
But Stamford needed penalties to clinch their win over Oadby Town after the tie had finished 2-2 at the end of extra time.
