Watch the action as Palace edged past Plymouth Argyle despite a frantic finale where four goals were scored in just seven minutes.

Crystal Palace held their nerve to reach the Fifth Round of The FA Youth Cup after a frantic last eight minutes which saw four goals.

With Monday night's game seemingly heading for extra-time after Palace's Ben Kudjodji cancelled out Martin Watts' opener, the floodgates suddenly opened with the hosts eventually winning 4-2.

There was a sign of things to come as early as the sixth minute when James Dayton shot and Kudjodji knocked in the rebound, but the linesman's flag was up.

Plymouth were forced into an early change when striker Toby Davis was forced off with a head injury, but the reshuffle did little to disrupt the visitors, Watts slotting in at the far post to give his side a 24th minute lead.

But Palace rallied with England Under-17 striker Victor Moses a constant menace. He forced Argyle keeper Tim Sandercombe into a smart save after 29 minutes and moments later sent a free-kick just over the bar.

His Palace teammate Michael Kamara then headed over the bar.

However, the home side finally got it right in the 34th minute when left-back Lee Hills floated a great ball into the box and Kudjodji controlled and finished well.

Argyle were inches away from retaking the lead just after the break when Watts sent a stunning 35 yard drive crashing against the underside of the bar.

The visitors went close again on 75 minutes through Dan Smith, but his hooked shot from six yards went over the bar. Anthony Mason then drilled over another chance as the away side pushed for a winner.

But it was Palace who found the net, Matt Fish converting from the spot on 82 minutes after Jerahl Hughes was brought down in the box by Jamie Laird.

However, the visitors responded within a minute when Watts curled in a free-kick.

The goals kept on coming as Palace finally subdued the game Plymouth side. It was 3-2 after 86 minutes as Hughes cut inside from the right and sent a low drive into the bottom corner.

Palace scored a fourth goal two minutes from time when substitute Sean Scannell squared for Kudjodji to tap home.

The Selhurst Park outfit will now travel to the winners of Manchester United and Southampton.
