Watch Sam Hewson and Febian Brandy score the goals to send United through to the Sixth Round.

Manchester United moved into the FA Youth Cup sixth round with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

Goals in either half from Sam Hewson and Febian Brandy were enough to see off the south London side and book United's place against either Barnsley or Birmingham in the next round.

Hewson opened the scoring in the 36th minute when he smashed the ball past Martin Pearson after insightful work by Danny Welbeck.

Brandy then capitalised on a goalkeeping error by Pearson to double United's advantage in the 71st minute. The forward saw his shot saved but the referee's assistant signalled to allow the goal.

United have now scored seven goals in the competition without conceding.

Having already brushed aside Scunthorpe and Southampton they now sit just three matches away from winning the tournament for the tenth time.
