Burnley 0-3 Liverpool

A Paul Anderson inspired Liverpool booked their place in the quarter-finals of The FA Youth Cup following a comfortable 3-0 win over Burnley.

The Liverpool winger and former Hull trainee was exceptional on the evening, lending a hand in all of The Reds' three goals.

After a goalless first half, Anderson ran riot after the break, skinning the Burnley defence before crossing to Michael Nardiello who tapped in.

The second followed soon after and again Anderson was the architect, his cross eventually being bundled home by substitute Craig Lindfield.

Lindfield netted his second and Liverpool's third moments later, heading in from close range, but again he had Anderson to thank for the supply.
