Kirkham and Wesham manager Mick Fuller is full of praise for Coventry Sphinx following the 3-3 draw between the sides in their FA Vase quarter-final last week.

"They surprised me," admitted Fuller ahead of Saturday's replay.

"It was a very, very tough game. They were like a moving train - they didn't stop. It was a phenomenal effort from them.

"But Coventry probably think it's job done, and it's far from it.

"We're not travelling to Coventry just to take part in a game. It is not a foregone conclusion. There's less pressure on us this time around."

The first game in Lancashire was probably the tie of the round and both managers agree that it was a credit to non-league football.

Coventry boss Paul Charnley added: "In all my time at this level I've not seen many better games."

And Fuller echoed those sentiments and agreed with his opposite number.

"It was one of the best games I've seen for many, many years," he claimed.

"It was a great spectacle for the Vase.
Another game like that on Saturday and there might be a few heart attacks - I might be one of them!"

The winner's of Saturday's tie will play Needham Market over two legs for a place in the Final.

"Whichever side gets through now has got a great chance of getting to Wembley," said Fuller.
