The FA Carlsberg Vase
Semi-Final Draw
Monday 5 March 2007
Ties to take place on 24 and 31 March 2007
Winning clubs receive £6,000

There will be two North v South encounters in this season's FA Carlsberg Vase Semi-Finals after the draw was made at Soho Square today.

All four Semi-Finalists made it through on Saturday, without the need for a replay, in a day that saw ten goals scored.

Curzon Ashton's quest to become Manchester's first FA Vase winners continued as they triumphed 4-1 at home against Leamington and they'll now face Cornish outfit Truro City.

The Western League table-toppers, who beat Whitehawk on Saturday, are in the Semis for the first time and are aiming to be the first team from Cornwall to win the competition.

The first-leg is at Curzon Ashton's Tameside Stadium on Saturday 24 March, with a return at Treyew Road a week later.

In the other Semi-Final match up, Hampshire-based AFC Totton, extra-time victors over Wimborne at the weekend, will meet Billingham Synthonia at Testwood Park on 24 March. The Stags will then make the long journey to Teesside where Billingham beat Bideford 1-0 in the Sixth Round.

A place in the 13 May Final is now one step away.
