Ilfracombe booked themselves a place in the First Round Proper with an impressive 4-2 win at home to plucky Hamworthy United.
The North Devon hosts side got off to a flying start when Leon Caswell opened the scoring after just 15 minutes. Hamworthy then fought back and were level on 35 minutes through a Warren Byerely goal, but Ilfracombe were soon back in front with Danny Robinson's scoring just before the break.
"That was the turning point," said Ilfracombe manager Kevin Picard. "To score just before half-time was very important and swung the tie our way."
Barry Yeo made it 3-1 from the spot on 55 minutes and Caswell got his second just four minutes later to round off the win before Ryan Dovell scored a late consolation goal.
Picard added: "I am very pleased with the lads because that was a very disciplined performance from the team."
Elsewhere, Oadby Town boss Lee Adam remained upbeat after his injury-hit side slumped to a 2-0 defeat at home to Barwell in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Vase.
Adams said afterwards: "Obviously we are disappointed with the result because we wanted to go far in this competition, but we have got to pick ourselves up because we have got a big game in the FA Cup at the weekend against Nuneaton Borough.
"We are missing one or two players at the moment, but hopefully we will have a few players back by then and we will be at full health."
Pagham were 4-0 winners at Slade Green to book themselves a trip to Tunbridge Wells. They were helped by two goals in the last four minutes through Michael Frangou and Callum Brittan, just when the home side were threatening to claw their way back into the game.
In other ties, Bourne Town got the biggest away win with an excellent 5-2 win at Diss Town and there were also wins for Moneyfields, Amesbury Town and Radcliffe Olympic.
Wembley beat Clacton 4-2 and Birstall United hit two without reply at home to Blackwell MW.
