Stafford Rangers have a major incentive to continue their FA Trophy run in the big derby clash against Tamworth on Saturday.

At 43, Stafford's Neil Grayson could become the oldest player to grace the new Wembley and manager Kevin Street is hoping Rangers can gift him his dream.

"It would be wonderful to get Neil and the team to Wembley and it is a massive incentive to perform," he said.

And Street is hoping for a large home support to greet the hosts on Saturday. He added: "We are hoping for a record gate and we think we might get it. Tamworth are going to bring as many fans as they can and that can only add to the atmosphere."

The Staffordshire rivals will meet in the Third Round in what promises to be an intriguing tie.

Rangers are bottom of the Blue Square Premier but joint-caretaker manager Street is eyeing Trophy success against a Tamworth side sixteenth in the Conference North.

He added: "It is a winnable game, the lads feel in good spirit and we are confident. We aren't going too well in the league so the cup is a nice distraction."

Tamworth manager Gary Mills also believes the possibility of playing at Wembley will inspire his side ahead of the derby clash.

He said: "There should be no need to motivate the players because the possibility of playing at Wembley is enough to do that," he said.

Mills will have to re-shuffle his side with cup-tied pair Colin Marrison and Martin Foster both missing.
