Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish feels his team will have the edge over Burton Albion in Tuesday's FA Trophy quarter-final replay after they ended Nigel Clough's side's unbeaten away league record last month.

The teams fought out a tight goalless draw at Burton's Pirelli Stadium on Saturday and Daish hopes home advantage will prove the difference this time.

"We've made this a hard place to come and we've proved we can beat them, so we can get a bit of confidence from that," he said.

These are exciting times for the Fleet. The Conference Premier club was recently bought by fan's group My Football Club and has attracted a lucrative new sponsorship deal with Eurostar.

Daish won January's Manager of the Month award and his side's league form has enabled them to mount a challenge for a play-off spot.

But he refuses to think that far ahead and added: "Our priority is to beat Burton. All we're thinking about is Tuesday's game."

Albion are also chasing promotion but despite leading Ebbsfleet by eight points in the league, Clough thinks his side go into the game as underdogs.

"We played as well as we have for a few weeks on Saturday, but they'd probably be favourites," he said. "We've played them three times and are yet to win, though we're probably due one.

"We're two very honest sides and it should be a very close game," he added.
