A trio of newcomers to The FA Sunday Cup, in partnership with Carlsberg, are vying for quarter-final glory in this season’s competition.
Success in the Fourth Round will bring AFC Bromborough, Grange Athletic and UK Flooring one step closer to reaching the final of the nation’s flagship Sunday League football competition.
Grange Athletic, from the Kidderminster and District League, face the toughest test away to holders Duke of York, who stormed into the Fourth Round with a 7-1 win over Hexton.
Birkenhead League side AFC Bromborough and UK Flooring, from the Bristol Regional League, will both be at home.
AFC Bromborough will take on Nicosia, from the Liverpool Business House League, and UK Flooring will be up against Quested, from the Medway Area League.
Six of last season’s quarter-finalists are still in the competition with two – St Margarets, from the Northants Sunday Conference League, and Reading League side Reading Irish – drawn against each other in the Fourth Round.
In a repeat of last season’s quarter-final, A3 (Canada), from the Liverpool Business House League, will take on eventual losing finalists Liverpool and District League side Allerton.
The final of The FA Sunday Cup, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, will be played on Sunday, April 25, at Liverpool FC for the second season running.
The FA Sunday Cup is sponsored by Carlsberg for the second season and forms an integral part of their support of football in this country.
As The FA’s partner in men’s football, Carlsberg also sponsor The FA Trophy and The FA Vase, highlighting their commitment to non-league football.
