Well over two million fans have been "Up for The Cup" so far this season.
Both of the crowds at Wembley at the weekend exceeded the previous record for an FA Cup Semi-Final match, which had stood for 62 years. There were 83,584 there on Saturday for West Bromwich Albion v Portsmouth and 82,752 on Sunday for Barnsley v Cardiff City.
The weekend of the Fifth Round produced an average attendance of 31,099, which was the best for the round since 1981.
Even back in September there were 3,112 fans at Fleetwood Town's home match with FC United of Manchester, the highest for a tie in the First Round Qualifying for 14 years.
Here are this season's top ten crowds in The FA Cup:-
- 83,584 - West Bromwich Albion v Portsmouth in Semi-Final
- 82,752 - Barnsley v Cardiff City in Semi-Final
- 75,550 - Manchester United v Arsenal in Fifth Round
- 75,463 - Manchester United v Portsmouth in Sixth Round
- 75,369 - Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur in Fourth Round
- 60,064 - Arsenal v Newcastle United in Fourth Round
- 42,566 - Liverpool v Havant & Waterlooville in Fourth Round
- 42,449 - Liverpool v Barnsley in Fifth Round
- 41,446 - Liverpool v Luton Town in Third Round (replay)
- 41,324 - Chelsea v Huddersfield Town in Fifth Round
At the other end of the scale these were the ten most modest turn-outs:-
30 - Erith Town v Cobham
35 - Bedfont Green v Stanway Rovers
35 - Brodsworth Miners Welfare v Parkgate
37 - Barkingside v Stewarts & Lloyds
37 - Squires Gate v Penrith Town
38 - Frimley Green v Colliers Wood United
38 - Henley Town v Westbury United
39 - Bedford v Broxbourne Borough V&E
40 - Daisy Hill v Congleton Town
40 - Daventry United v Raunds Town
All were in the Extra Preliminary Round, except Bedford's tie which was in the Preliminary Round.
