Rafael Benitez hailed the 125th FA Cup Final as "magical" after his Liverpool side won the competition for the seventh time.
The Liverpool manager was left delighted as his side came from two goals down to force extra time before beating West Ham 3-1 on penalties.
Benitez's side have a history of bouncing back after conceding goals.
They came back from 3-0 down against AC Milan in Istanbul last season to win the Champions League.
It is this attitude which the Spaniard believes came through again today to spur Liverpool on to victory.
He said: "Both teams put in a magnificent performance. It is hard to tell which team deserved to win - it was a magnificent Final.
"We knew that they can score goals but we can also score and we needed to keep going right to the end."
