The Twang become the latest band to launch their bid for The FA Cup Anthem this weekend when they perform at the Etihad Stadium.
They will showcase new song ‘We’re A Crowd’ before Saturday’s Sixth Round tie between Cup holders Manchester City and Barnsley.
And the Birmingham-based five piece made a trip to Wembley Stadium to get their hands on The Cup this week ahead of their performance.
Frontman Phil Etheridge said: “We were at Wembley Stadium this week and were like a bunch of kids getting our photos with The FA Cup!
“We’re all huge football fans so to be part of the search to find an official FA Cup anthem is dead exciting. Winning it would be pretty special.”
The Twang follow in the footsteps of fellow rockers Pigeon Detectives and grime stars Lethal Bizzle and Devlin in performing at FA Cup games this season.
All acts are aiming to collect enough public votes to win and receive the opportunity for their song to be played at Wembley Stadium ahead of The FA Cup Final in May.
Voting will open after the Semi-Final with the winning act to be announced ahead of The Final on Saturday 11 May.
Videos of each performance and artist updates will be available to view here and on the official FA Cup Facebook page after each round.
