Jonny Evans says the chance of getting FA Cup revenge over their City rivals is an ideal incentive ahead of Manchester United's Sixth Round replay with Chelsea.
The Reds defender missed the 2011 Semi-Final when United lost to Manchester City at Wembley, as Roberto Mancini's men went on to win their first major honour in 35 years.
And they could meet again at the same stage this season, if United can overcome Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their own replay after a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Evans told FATV: "We know if we get through, we've got Manchester City who beat us in a Semi-Final a couple of years ago.
"So it will be nice to go back down there and avenge that defeat.
"We want to get back to Wembley and make a habit of it really."
United haven't won The FA Cup since 2004, when they beat Millwall at the Millennium Stadium.
They've been back to two Finals since, losing to Arsenal in 2005 and then against Chelsea in 2007.
And Evans wants to add an FA Cup winner's medal to his own collection, along with a few more of his squad mates.
He added: "The FA Cup is a big competition.
"There's a few players in the squad who haven't got an FA Cup medal so that's something that we want to try and make sure we win this year."
A date for the replay between Chelsea and Manchester United has yet to be set.
