Michael Owen says Manchester City won't be looking forward to their FA Cup trip to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday.

The Stoke City striker and former FA Cup winner believes the Fourth Round tie presents a tricky challenge to Tony Pulis's team, but believes they can make home advantage count.

After Stoke's victory over Crystal Palace in the Third Round, Owen knows City will present a tougher game for the Potters.

But he also believes that Roberto Mancini's men won't be happy that they're away from home either.

He told FATV: "It was a good win against Crystal Palace, which was a tricky draw for us and now we're through, it doesn't get much trickier than Manchester City.

"But we're on our own patch and I'm not sure that they'll relish that."

The tie is a repeat of the 2011 FA Cup Final, when Stoke lost to a single goal against the Sky Blues at Wembley.

Owen wasn't with the club back then, but still has plenty of FA Cup memories of his own to look back on.

"I wasn't at the club when Stoke reached The Final a few years ago, ironically against City," he added. 

"But I've got some happy memories of The FA Cup as well and hopefully we can go far this year.

"The FA Cup Final of 2001 was one of the highlights of my career, beating Arsenal 2-1 and probably what made it more exciting is that we were outplayed that day.

"And the timing of the goals, two in the last ten minutes, gave me a massive adrenalin rush so it was one of the happiest memories of my career.

"It's one that I certainly look back on with fond memories."
