Five players have been nominated for the Budweiser Player of the Round award following their performance in The FA Cup Third Round Proper.

A panel of judges will nominate their candidates after each round (from the First Round Proper up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite right here.

The Third Round panel comprises The Sun journalists Justin Allen and Jim Munro, commentator Mark Pougatch, FA Historian David Barber, who has attended over 420 FA Cup ties, and Southampton fan Aidan Mills. Aidan secured his place on the panel after entering an online competition in conjunction with Budweiser.

The selections for the Third Round Proper are as follows:

Matthew Barnes-Homer, Macclesfield Town (Mark Pougatch)

Two late goals from Matthew Barnes-Homer booked Macclesfield Town a place in The FA Cup Fourth Round for the first ever time, as his brace overcame Championship leaders Cardiff City at Moss Rose.

Liam Bridcutt, Brighton & Hove Albion (David Barber)

Andrea Orlandi and Will Hoskins may have scored the goals which knocked Newcastle out of The Cup, but Brighton’s Liam Bridcutt took the plaudits for his stand-out performance in midfield.

Danny Hylton, Aldershot Town (Aidan Mills)

The reigning Player of the Round, Danny Hylton has been nominated once more after his hat-trick against Rotherham secured Aldershot’s maiden appearance in Round Four.

Alex Lawless, Luton Town (Justin Allen)

Non-League Luton pulled off one of the shocks of the Third Round as Alex Lawless’s second-half strike knocked out Championship side Wolves.

Andrea Orlandi, Brighton & Hove Albion (Jim Munro)

Andrea Orlandi’s cute finish set Brighton on their way to a 2-0 win over Newcastle and a Fourth Round tie against either Arsenal or Swansea.

You have until midday on Tuesday 15 January to vote for your favourite.

The person who tops the poll will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley next May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.
