After a weekend of FA Cup action, you can today vote for your Budweiser Player of the Round.
The five nominees are:
Nicky Platt (FC United Of Manchester)
Nicky’s hat-trick gave FC United a 3-2 victory in a difficult tie at Salford City. The pick of the midfielder’s treble was a 25-yard curler.
Sean Shields (St. Albans City)
Sean grabbed a first-half hat-trick in a crushing 6-2 win at Ashford Town (Middx). He opened the scoring after a dribble around several defenders.
Jonte Smith (Metropolitan Police)
Jonte is scoring for fun in The Cup with seven goals so far. His two in a 3-0 win at Berkhamsted came when Police were down to ten men.
Callum Ward (Tadcaster Albion)
Tadcaster reached the Third Round Qualifying for the first time thanks to Callum’s hat-trick of opportunist strikes in a 4-1 home win against Skem.
Tom Winters (Brackley Town)
Talismanic winger Tom stole the show with a hat-trick in a 4-0 home win against Daventry Town. His third was a rocket free-kick.
You have until midday on Tuesday 2 October to vote for your favourite.
The person who tops the poll will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley next May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.
