Andre Gray has been voted the latest Budweiser Player of the Round.

The Luton Town striker was in imperious form as the Hatters beat Cambridge United 2-0 in The FA Cup Fourth Round Qualifying.

Gray scored the opening goal and had a hand in the second, allowing the Conference promotion chasers to book their place in the First Round Proper, where they will host Nuneaton Town on Saturday.

The former Hinckley star received 41 per cent of the public vote ahead of Mansfield’s Jake Speight, Barrow’s Danny Hurst, Hereford’s Ryan Bowman and Hastings’ Lee Carey.

Gray will receive a commemorative Player of the Round trophy and he will be invited to this season’s FA Cup Final at Wembley as a guest of Budweiser and The FA.

Gray joins Kieran Lavery, Nicky Platt and Scott Murray on the list of this season’s Players of the Round.
