Ryan Bowman has picked up the latest Budweiser Player of the Round award.
Hereford’s two-goal hero helped guide the Bulls into the Second Round of The FA Cup at the expense of Shrewsbury.
Will Evans made the most of a defensive mix-up to put the hosts ahead in just the third minute before Bowman took centre stage.
He doubled his side’s lead with a thunderous long range effort and, after Luke Summerfield had reduced arrears, Bowman kept his cool from the penalty spot to seal the win and set up an away tie at Cheltenham Town on Monday 3 December.
Bowman collected 33 per cent of the public vote ahead of Chelmsford City’s Donovan Simmonds, Harrogate Town’s Chib Chilaka and Macclesfield Town’s Tony Diagne.
The 20-year-old will receive a commemorative Player of the Round trophy and he will be invited to this season’s FA Cup Final at Wembley as a guest of Budweiser and The FA.
