Leyton Orient assistant boss Kevin Nugent is bracing his players for a tough Cup test tonight, as the League One side travel to face Gloucester City.
The tie was postponed due to a water-logged pitch in the West Country eleven days ago, but the teams are finally set to go head-to-head for the prize of a Second Round Proper match against Alfreton Town.
And Nugent says their players won't be taking their Conference opponents lightly, having been prepared for the game as if they were facing a top flight outfit.
He said: "It's a big and a tough FA Cup tie for us and we know it's going to be a difficult game.
"It's a Cup tie against a non-League club away and that won't be easy, against a good side as well.
"We've prepared as we normally would, in terms of the footage and the match reports we've got and they'll be getting the same respect as if we were playing a Premier League team."
The east Londoners, who reached the Fifth Round Proper in the 2010-11 season where they were beaten by Arsenal after a replay at the Emirates, are hoping to enjoy another Cup run this season.
But the only focus at the moment is on progressing through the First Round, according to Nugent.
"It'll be very good financially if we can get going in The FA Cup, but as players and ourselves as staff we're just thinking about winning this game and the rest of it will take care of itself," he added.
"You only have to look at some of the results from the other weekend when our game was called off.
"We know it's going to be tough and no-one's expecting anything different. but hopefully we'll have enough to come through."
