Four players have been nominated for the Budweiser Player of the Round award following their performance in The FA Cup First Round Proper.
A panel of judges will nominate their candidates after each round (from the First Round Proper up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite right here.
The First Round panel comprises commentator Mark Pougatch, The Sun journalist Justin Allen, FA Historian David Barber, who has attended 419 FA Cup ties, and Southampton fan Aidan Mills. Aidan secured his place on the panel after entering an online competition in conjunction with Budweiser.
The selections for the First Round Proper are as follows:
Ryan Bowman, Hereford United (David Barber)
Ryan Bowman’s brace helped guide FA Cup-loving Hereford past Graham Turner’s Shrewsbury.
Will Evans made the most of a defensive mix-up to put the Bulls ahead in just the third minute before Bowman took centre stage.
He doubled his side’s lead with a thunderous long range effort and, after Luke Summerfield had reduced arrears, Bowman kept his cool from the penalty spot to book Hereford’s place in the Second Round.
Chib Chilaka, Harrogate Town (Justin Allen)
Chib Chilaka’s first-half goal was enough to beat Torquay and send Harrogate Town into the Second Round of The FA Cup for the first time in their history.
The north Yorkshire side were forced to clear off the line three times while Gulls midfielder Niall Thompson missed a glorious chance on the hour mark.
But Harrogate held on for a famous win.
Tony Diagne, Macclesfield Town (Aidan Mills)
Tony Diagne set Conference Premier Macclesfield Town on their way to a famous victory over Paolo Di Canio’s Swindon with a fiercely struck 35-yard free-kick. Louis Thompson’s own goal in the final minute secured the Silkmen’s place in Round Two.
Donovan Simmonds, Chelmsford City (Mark Pougatch)
Donovan Simmonds was the hero as Chelmsford City registered arguably the biggest shock of the First Round.
Simmonds scored a goal in each half as City rocked their Essex rivals. Michael Rose pulled a goal back for the League One side, but Jamie Slabber finished off the tie in the final minute.

The person who tops the poll will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley next May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.
