Promotion-chasing Southampton will be looking to recapture their form in The FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Round replay against Millwall on Tuesday.

Both clubs will welcome the distraction of The Cup, having only won one of their last six league games.

Southampton have had decent form in recent years in this competition. The 1976 winners are looking to make the Fifth Round for the seventh time in 12 seasons. In contrast, the Lions have struggled in The FA Cup. They have never won the competition and are looking to advance to the last 16 for the first time in seven years.

However, Kenny Jackett’s men should go in to the game with confidence; the Lions are unbeaten in their last eight FA Cup matches against clubs from the same division.

Both clubs signed strikers in the January transfer window but both Southampton’s Billy Sharp and Millwall’s Andy Keogh are unavailable.

The Southampton boss, Nigel Adkins, is taking The FA Cup seriously and expects a tough game on Tuesday night.

He said: "It's great to have a Cup run and we want to win all the games we compete for and we want competition for places.

"It's a tough game. We won't underestimate the opposition but we want to get through to the next round."

Meanwhile, Jackett feels his side could get a result against the Championship high-fliers.

He said: "We've got to go to St Mary's and win, which is no easy feat, but we're still alive."

Bolton Wanderers await the winners of this replay in Round Five.
