Five players have been nominated for the Budweiser Player of the Round award following their performance in The FA Cup Second Round Proper.
A panel of judges will nominate their candidates after each round (from the First Round Proper up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite right here.
The Second Round panel comprises The Sun journalists Justin Allen and Jim Munro, commentator Mark Pougatch, FA Historian David Barber, who has attended over 400 FA Cup ties, and Southampton fan Aidan Mills. Aidan secured his place on the panel after entering an online competition in conjunction with Budweiser.
The selections for the Second Round Proper are as follows:
Stephen Gleeson, MK Dons (Aidan Mills)
Stephen Gleeson’s magnificent 30-yard strike put MK Dons ahead in their first-ever meeting with AFC Wimbledon.
But it wasn’t just the midfielder’s goal that stood out - he also put in an all-action display, popping up all over the pitch to help the MK cause.
Danny Hylton, Aldershot Town (Justin Allen)
Danny Hylton’s brace helped Aldershot Town come from behind to beat Fleetwood 3-2.
He equalised for the Shots after Junior Brown’s opener before Peter Vincenti fired Aldershot ahead from distance. Hylton grabbed a third with 15 minutes remaining and although David Ball pulled one back for the hosts, Town hung on to book their place in Round Three.
Shaun Miller, Sheffield United (David Barber)
A dramatic added-time double from Sheffield United’s Shaun Miller stunned Notts County and sent the Blades through to the Third Round.
Tom Pope put the visitors ahead just after the half-an-hour mark but Miller popped up twice at the death to keep United in The Cup.
Jon Otsemobor, MK Dons (Jim Munro)
Jon Otsemobor was another player who popped up late on to help his side progress to the Third Round.
AFC Wimbledon’s Jack Midson had earlier levelled Stephen Gleeson’s opening goal for MK Dons but Otsemobor’s instinctive flick of his boot avoided the need for a replay in Kingsmeadow and booked MK a Third Round date with Sheffield Wednesday.
Alan Power, Lincoln City (Mark Pougatch)
Alan Power’s two goals against Mansfield almost helped secure Lincoln’s progress into Round Three.
He made it 1-1 on the stroke of half-time and put the Imps 3-2 up with less than half-an-hour to play, only for Matt Rhead to earn the visitors a replay in the final minute.
You have until midday on Monday 17 December to vote for your favourite.
The person who tops the poll will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley next May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.
