Danny Hylton has been voted the latest Budweiser Player of the Round.

The forward bagged a double to help Aldershot defeat Fleetwood 3-2 in The FA Cup Second Round Proper.

He equalised Junior Brown’s opener before Peter Vincenti fired Aldershot ahead from distance. Hylton grabbed a third with 15 minutes remaining and although David Ball pulled one back for the hosts, Town hung on to book their place in Round Three where they will face either Rotherham or Notts County.

Hylton collected 59 per cent of the public vote ahead of Lincoln’s Alan Power, MK Dons duo Stephen Gleeson and Jon Otsemobor and Sheffield United’s Shaun Miller.

He will now receive a commemorative Player of the Round trophy and he will be invited to this season’s FA Cup Final at Wembley as a guest of Budweiser and The FA.
