The FA Youth Cup, sponsored by E.ONThe Final, Second Leg7.45pm, Tuesday 26 May 2009Anfield, Liverpool FC Liverpool captain Joe Kennedy is hoping to be able to lead his team to success on Tuesday evening, when they take on Arsenal in the second leg of this season’s Final. The Reds find themselves 4-1 down on aggregate following last Friday’s game at the Emirates Stadium, but with home advantage now in their favour they will be looking to try and turn it around and create a magical Anfield night to remember.Hugh McAuley’s team certainly have enough attacking talent in their team to do so, with the likes of wingers David Amoo and Alex Kicaniklic looking to provide ammunition for players such as England U17 international Thomas Ince and Finnish hitman Laurie Dalla Valle who has notched seven goals in this season FA Youth Cup. "We need them to take their chances in The Final along with anyone else who can score for us,” revealed Kennedy. “They have a very good scoring record and I hope that they show that even more in The Final.”Despite the result at the Emirates, the experiences garnered by all of the players in performing in front of a 33,000 crowd and then again in front of similar at Anfield this evening means they have a platform on which to impress. "There is always the incentive in all of our games, but this one will be the biggest stage for all of our players so we all want to impress and show everyone what we can do,” added Kennedy. "Our aim was simply to get through each round as it came rather than have any long term view. “In The FA Youth Cup, you have to win to stay in it and that is good practice for the future in professional football too.”
