North Greenford United came back from two goals down to beat Hanwell Town and progress into the First Round Qualifying of The FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON.

Rory Jennings gave the home side a 20th minute lead before Jonathan Ramdeen doubled the advantage ten minutes into the second half. However, within four minutes Norht Greenford were level.

Harry Henley made it 2-1 side-footing home at the end of a well-worked move, then Charlie Barker tucked in a one-on-one to equaliser.

Both sides could have clinched a winner, but it was the hard work of visiting forward Lewis Rose ten minutes from time, closing down the back-four well, that saw the ball hit the back of the net and secure their passage into the next round.

Stephen Hawkins, North Greenford's General Manager, said: "This is fantastic. We've now got a home game in a fortnight, which for us is winnable, then we'll play someone similar to us again.

"But then, four games down the road you could get a pro club. Four years ago Wealdstone, who are in our league, played Liverpool at Anfield. If they can do it, we can do it?"

They now face Thamesmead Town at home in the First Round Qualifying.
