Ahead of their FA Women's Cup Semi-Final tie against Chelsea, Sunderland have been named the E.ON Team of the Round after their victory over Bristol Academy earned them a place in the last four for the first time in the club's history.

The Black Cats found themselves 2-0 down at the interval but battled back with second-half goals from Demi Stokes and Sophie Williams, which took the game into extra-time. Williams scored her seventh Cup goal after 112 minutes before Lucy Bronze headed home a fourth goal in added time.

"Everyone at the club is delighted to receive this award," beamed Mick Mulhern, manager of Sunderland Women's FC.

"To come from two goals down and beat quality Premier League opposition to earn a place in the Semi-Final, is a great achievement and we are delighted that this has been recognised by E.ON."

Sunderland's first ever Semi-Final appearance will take place at the Stadium of Light on Sunday 22 March, with the winners going on to face either Arsenal or Everton in The Final on 4 May.
