County FAs

The Football Association has 43 County Associations who are responsible for developing football in your area. They can also advise you on how to get involved in playing, coaching, refereeing, setting up a club and the Charter Standard Scheme.

County FAs are the governing body for football in their district, so if you have a query about a ruling or a dispute that effects your club, give them a call:

The FA believes that football should be safe and enjoyable for all children and has introduced Criminal Records Bureau checks to enforce this principle. CRB checks allow us to ascertain the suitability of individuals working with and supervising children.
