Adele Bolderson and Tracey Bates from The FA's Customer Relations team witnessed Arsenal cruise to a 5-0 victory over Leeds United in The FA Women’s Cup Final on 1 May 2006.
A crowd of 13,452 ensured a thrilling atmosphere and witnessed Arsenal achieve a League and Cup double.
Adele and Tracey were located in front of the popular Millwall FC tour bus just outside The Den Stadium and were answering questions regarding various footballing matters such as The FA’s ‘Football For All’ campaign and the World Cup. Supporters were able to collect footballing publications, posters, player postcards and badges from The FA’s marquee.
Supporters also discussed the England Women’s forthcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Hungary on 11 May at Southampton FC. Tickets for the game are now on sale, priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. Tickets can be purchased from the Southampton FC ticket office or by calling the ticket hotline on 0870 220 0150.
