New York Giants guard Grey Ruegamer says that he would love the opportunity to play at the 'beautiful' Wembley Stadium again in the future.
Despite the wind and rain, the Las Vegas-born Giant who is playing in his ninth NFL season believes that playing at Wembley is an experience he will never forget.
"It's beautiful," Ruegamer told TheFA.com. "Obviously it's Wembley Stadium, so it's one of the greatest places to be now. You just have to look at it, it's a wonderful place to play, what else can you say?
"The fans were great, we came over and we didn't really know what to expect. We weren't sure how the fans would take to football, because their football is soccer really, and that's a great sport as well.
"A lot of the guys were excited to come over and introduce the American sport to England, and get to hang out in London - it's a great city."
A keen fan of English football, Ruegamer would be eager to see more matches coming in the reverse direction and soccer stars showing their skills stateside.
"I'd like to see it, soccer is already taking quite a foothold back in the States and I'd like to see more of it. But I watch soccer myself, I'm a big fan of it, and I've watched games at the old Wembley stadium.
"The new stadium is a beautiful place and I'd love to come back and play again, but I don't know if the pitch manager will let us because we kind of tore up his field."
Ruegamer was satisfied that the field conditions were fine for football, but the heavy rain made the finer points of the game more difficult to execute.
"The field is not meant for 300-pound guys to run around mashing eachother on, and it got a little sloppy and a little wet and we kind of made our mark on the field.
"The overall field conditions were alright, it was a little muddy but that's to be expected. Because for us it's football; it's muddy, sloppy and wet and it's fine."
The Giants now have a week to recover and build towards their next fixture, with an impressive record of six victories
It's nice, we have a week off now and we know we're sitting on a 6-2 record with a big game at home in two weeks.
We're going to relax and get prepared for that, but in the meantime we're going to travel around London, have some pints and enjoy the win.
