Under the banner of Moving Football Forward, The Referees Conference will be taking place on the final day of this exciting event on Wednesday 2 November 2005.
The FA's Refereeing Department have put together an exciting set of interactive presentations aimed at referees at all levels of the game. This is your chance to brush up on the laws of the game, test your knowledge and get the chance to show the red card! Can you handle the challenge?
A series of presentations will be taking place throughout the day called, ‘Your Joking Lino’ which explores the offside rule and ‘Judging Challenges’, all based around the delegate's interpretation of the game. Would you have given the red card? Watch a range of clips from different matches and get the chance to decide! In the afternoon, Janie Frampton, FA Regional Refereeing Manager will be delivering a session on Women in Refereeing. The conference aims to break down perceptions about refereeing and show delegates how to get involved.
There will be a whole range of conferences taking place over the three days so make sure you book online for Moving Football Forward, FA Learning's largest ever conference event. Depending on your area of interest, delegates can attend either 1,2 or 3 days, so take a look at what is happening when and apply online today...
