Pudsey Civic Hall saw the first of the two shows in the North East Region, 113 turned up and according to the feedback they had a very enjoyable day picking up many learning points.

The FA is grateful to all those who supported us and especially grateful to the team who carried out the presentations, namely Ed Stone, Roger Vaughan, Ian Blanchard and John Baker.

Overnight we made the move to Newcastle, a superb setting in the Gosforth Park Hotel we had 97 attendees arriving just as all the work had concluded in setting up the equipment and First Media Solutions were taking breakfast following a 4.30am start!

Again the feedback suggests a thoroughly enjoyable day, which was presented by Ed Stone, Roger Vaughan, Ray Olivier and John Baker.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole of the Referee Department Development team for their support in creating and presenting this year’s events, which were ably and professionally supported by First Media Solutions.
