FAMOA goes west!
By Roger Vaughan. Wednesday, 21 July 2004.
Over 200 Referees, Instructors, Assessors and Mentors of all ages and levels of experience attended the two events in the South West over the weekend and witnessed presentations on The Skills of Refereeing, Dealing with Confrontation and Offside together with a presentation from the Head of Refereeing, John Baker.
The presentations were given by Ed Stone (Regional Manager South East), Janie Frampton (Regional Manager South) and Alan Wilkie (Regional Manager North East) and the day was led by Roger Vaughan (Regional Manager South West).
The feedback from both days was very positive and indicated a positive response to the decision to hold two events in the South West for the first time following successful conferences in Exeter and Yeovil in previous years.
The Counties represented also showed the broader appeal of the Development Days with people from nearly 20 Counties and Associations in attendance.
The last two FAMOA Development Days take place this weekend on Saturday 24 July at Pudsey in Yorkshire and Sunday 25 July at Newcastle. If you would like to attend email now to either: FAMOA@TheFA.com or Alan.Wilkie@TheFA.com
