Director of Communications to take up new role after World Cup.
Following this summer’s World Cup, The Football Association’s Director of Communications Adrian Bevington will take on a new role as Club England Managing Director.
He will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Ian Watmore and working closely with Michelle Farrer, Director of Club England Team Operations.
Adrian will provide Executive Management Team responsibilities and stakeholder management for all England representative teams of any age, gender, disability or type of football. This is as envisaged by The FA Strategic Vision of 2008.
He will work closely with all the England coaching and support staff. Fabio Capello and Franco Baldini will continue to report directly to the Chairman Lord Triesman and Chief Executive Ian Watmore. All other coaches will continue to report to Director of Football Sir Trevor Brooking.
Until he starts the new role, Adrian will continue to lead the Communications Division, with the World Cup a key priority.
The FA will shortly be advertising for the post of Director of Marketing & Communications.
