Triesman meets the fans

England fans take the chance to question The FA Chairman, Lord Triesman.

FA Chairman Lord Triesman attended an England fans forum on Thursday evening at the 'Offside' bar in Islington, fielding questions from supporters on a range of subjects.

During the question and answer session that lasted more than two hours, Lord Triesman spoke on issues from coaching development and the National Football Centre to the prospects of a Great Britain team at London 2012.

Lord Triesman also spoke about England's World Cup 2018 bid and further discussed his role at The FA having been in the post for over a year now.

The prospect of a further event for englandfans+ members in the top caps category was also discussed.

There are currently 181 englandfans+ members who haven't missed an England match over the last two qualifying campaigns. England have played twenty-nine matches since the 2006 World Cup, including long distance away trips to Russia, Trinidad and Belarus.

The majority of these members are already planning their next trip to Kazakhstan, again demonstrating the fantastic support the England team enjoys wherever in the world they play.
