FA Chairman Geoff Thompson signed a co-operation agreement with CONCACAF President and FIFA Vice President Jack Warner in April 2000, committing The FA to a programme of assistance for the North & Central American and Caribbean region.


Marketing / Sponsorship Assistance:

A Marketing & Sponsorship workshop was conducted by The FA's Director of Marketing and Head of Sports Marketing for Nationwide in June 2001.

Technical Assistance:

The FA International Coaching Licence Course is held every year for CONCACAF coaches in Trinidad.

A Strategic Planning Workshop for Directors of Coaching from all Concacaf Member countries was conducted by FA Acting Technical Director Les Reed and FA Coach Martin Hunter in December 2001.

Belize
The FA donated 25 footballs to Belize in 2003 for use by the Belize Under-23 team.

Bermuda

The FA ran a referees course for the Bermuda FA in 2002. The course was funded by the Bermuda FA.

Canada
Representatives of The FA joined the Canadian senior national team at the Confederations Cup in Japan / Korea in May 2001 in preparation for the England team's participation in the FIFA World Cup in the same countries the following year.      

Cuba   
FA Coach Roger Soper conducted an International Coaching Licence course in Cuba in 2002 celebration of 100 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Cuba. The course was funded by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and followed earlier discussions in England  between The FA and Humberto Rodriquez, Head of the National Sports Institute & Cuban Minister for Sport.

Jamaica
The FA donated prizes to the winners of The Prince’s Cup, an Inner-City 5-a-side community football tournament in Kingston. 

Montserrat
The FA hosted meetings with representatives of the Montserrat FA to explore assistance in providing football development opportunities to people from Montserrat who live in England. Around 8,000 Montserratians left the island following the volcano eruption some 7 years ago. Today, there are more Montserratians living in England than in Montserrat itself.

Trinidad & Tobago
Trinidad will meet Iraq in a senior international friendly in England in May 2004. The FA is a support agency of the Iraqi Senior National Team's Goodwill Tour of England.

FA recommended referee instructor Derek Bray conducted a referees course in 2003 funded by the TCIFA.
