
The Football Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Asian Football Confederation in 2000 to participate together on Technical Co-operation to help to raise the standards of football and football administration in Asia, particularly in the developing countries of the region.
Football Association officials have already conducted three workshops in Kuala Lumpur, including a Strategic Planning Workshop led by former FA Technical Director, Howard Wilkinson, and a goalkeeping course conducted by former England international and current England goalkeeper coach Ray Clemence.
