The FA will continue to help develop girls' football in Lesotho.
Development progressing

The Football Association’s football development work in Lesotho will step up a gear next week.
FA Regional Coach Development Manager Andy Poole will be delivering in-service training for senior coaches at the Lesotho Football Association (LEFA) headquarters in Maseru.
Twenty-four of Lesotho’s top-flight coaches will be put through their paces in a number of activities ranging from advanced training ground techniques to high-level fitness exercises.
The FA’s two other UEFA-CAF Meridian Project partners – Botswana and Malawi – received the same workshop in May, with FA coach Colin Morris impressed with the progress made in both these developing football countries.
LEFA is already reaping the rewards of FA training this year after it received a follow-up women’s football development workshop.
Progress is being made in the women’s game and now it is hoped that the Lesotho league and its coaches will benefit from FA guidance on how to improve top-flight football in the country.
Also in Africa will be The FA’s Regional Referees Manager Ray Olivier, who has been invited by the Qatar Football Association to address a number of match officials at training camp taking place in Tunisia.
The vastly-experienced and much-travelled Ray will deliver a number of presentations during the training camp covering teamwork and game control.
