This week Belize became the latest country to benefit from The Football Association's International Development Programme.
On 18th June the British High Commission presented a donation of 25 Mitre footballs from The FA to Dr Bertie Chimilio, President of the Football Federation of Belize (FFB), at the FFB's national training centre and headquarters in Belmopan.
The balls will be used for training by the Belize National U23 team, and represents The FA's second donation of its kind to Belize. Dr Chimilo called the donation "a meaningful contribution towards improving our football at the national level".
Belize's Under-23s are currently preparing for a match against Costa Rica.
The FA's International Development Programme is active in every continent, offering technical and material assistance in all aspects of the game, from refereeing courses to administration workshops.
