Jane Bateman, Head of International Relations highlighted the progress made by The FA since the Division was established just over 2 years ago, "Our International Development Programme is now active in every confederation with the aim to develop skills in the fields of coaching, refereeing, administration and sports medicine. Our work with CONCACAF is an excellent example of what can be achieved by working in partnership with international confederations."

The partnership began in April 2000 when The FA and CONCACAF signed an agreement that committed The FA to a long-term programme of assistance to the confederation of North & Central America and the Caribbean.

Since then The FA has run a number of courses covering issues that range from Marketing/Sponsorship, Strategic Planning and Refereeing Development.
