Taking place in May and October 2006, at Leicestershire and Hertfordshire County FA’s, each event will be exclusive and free to 100 learners that have enrolled on the ‘New Level 1 Coaches Support Package.’  

 

The online courses package offer learners the chance to take part in 6 courses covering key elements of coaching, psychology and fitness as well as receiving 3 FA Learning books on the same subjects and a copy of our coaching journal, Insight.

 

The package costs just £95, saving the learner more than £100 and 50%!

The Coaching Development Days are seen as a great way to demonstrate the link between learning online and taking that learning back on to the pitch with the players.

10.00 - Arrive and Refreshments

10.20 - 10.30 - Welcome

10.30 - 12.30 - Practical Coaching Session (1)

12.30 - 13.25 - Lunch, prizes and presentations

13.30 - 15.30 - Practical Coaching Session (2)

15.30 - Finish

 

The practical sessions will be run and designed to support grassroots coaches who are Level 1 and Level 2 qualified and delegates will be asked to take part in the sessions where possible.

 

The sessions will be run by The FA's Regional Coach in each area with support provided from Roger Soper, FA Learning Online Course Director and qualified ‘A’ Licence Coach.

 

To have a chance of winning a place at either event you will need to be enrolled by the following dates:

 

Leicestershire FA - Thursday 13th April

Hertfordshire FA - Thursday 30th August

 

This means that anyone enrolling by the 13th April will have two chances to take part in the coaching development days!

 

All successful learners will be contacted by The FA via email approx 5/6 weeks before the event.
